Biogen boosted by £22m funding from RBS (UK)


Plans by Biogen to roll out 10 operational anaerobic digestion plants by 2017 have been bolstered by the allocation of £22 million of funding from banking giant Royal Bank of Scotland. The company designs, builds, owns and operates food waste anaerobic digestion (AD) plants to recycle food waste from the municipal waste stream as well as from food manufacturers, retailers and the hospitality sector to generate renewable energy.
