Farming event to make case for anaerobic digestion (UK)

Britain’s status as “the world leader in climate smart farming” could be ensured through anaerobic digestion. That’s the view of MP Jim Paice, speaking ahead of the UK’s biggest dedicated anaerobic digestion and biogas event, UK AD & Biogas. The event, to be held at the NEC from July 3-4, has been designed to help farmers understand the business case for on-farm AD plants, which can generate energy from crops, farm and food wastes, while cutting emissions and reducing input costs and so increasing profits.
