Researchers to study waste molecules to boost biogas & chemical production (USA)


Verliant Sciences, a subsidiary of San Francisco based Verliant Energy, has teamed up with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to analyse the separation of the molecular constituents of various waste streams for renewable energy and biomedical applications. The company said that it has entered into a multi-year collaborative research and development agreement with the university to conduct the analysis, which it expects to have important waste reclamation, renewable energy, and biomedical applications.
